It's crazy but I don't understand why people are after money so madly.
I would only want a reasonable salary like 5000$ per month to pay utility bills, grocery, dining out, fitness, etc.,
Beats me, why some politicians are so corrupt and saving money in swiss bank accounts which they dont use at all.
Even if one makes too much money, it's not necessary to show off. It's better to keep a low profile and be humble!

Everybody needs security in their life. Money is an important factor in life which can provide u safety and security in life. The lack of knowledge of the aim of life, and the difficulties faced by the poor people in getting any work done in their day to day life encourages people to earn more and more money through out their life time.

You see , necessity is mother of invention. Indian philosophy never never got impotence otherwise this would have not happened. Whatever problems we are facing is due to western influence in our society. As soon as people started thinking about materialism they started what you say people run for money.

They haven't figured out what's most important yet...that is providing you have enough to supply what you need to live.
It could also be their own insecurities showing through...so they have to express themselves through their possessions.
