Right click on an icon or highlight several icons and select....send to... Compressed (zipped) folder...
It is yellow just like regular folders... But, has what looks like a black zipper running down the middle of it.

Zipped folder is a normal folder on the p.c that has been zipped (made smaller) using software for that purpose.
You need to have installed zip software to create and open zipped files.
A free software that does this is called "winzip" the info says it is time limited but I've been using mine for 4 yrs now with no problems.

You have to Zip them first. Goto desttop backclip, NEW, FOLDER, Put a file in the folder that you want zipped.
Then backclick SEND TO, ZIP FOLDER,
then when you get ready Backclick UNZIP that easy...
What it does is compress file to make them smaller so it doesn't take so long to send VIA EMAIL or use up so much hard drive...

If you have never dealt with a zip before, first go to downloads.com and download a free version of winzip. This way if you come across a zip file, you will be able to view it, as well as zip up files.
I am not sure what you are looking for zips. You have to be very careful with zips. Never open one if you don't know who it is from. People often use zips as the vehicle for malware and rootkits.

That question is kind of vague. What I would do is to first make sure that you have a compression utility installed on your computer, my favorite is winRAR. Once winRAR is installed just right-click on the zipped file and navigate to Extract Here.. and then it will decompress the zip file.
To find the zip file itself just go to My Computer, C:, and look for the folder that you saved it in. If you just quickly saved it, it will probably be in "My Documents"
If you cannot find "My Documents" on the desktop, goto start then click on my documents. and look in there for the zip file to right click on and hit extract here.
hope this helps.

THat makes no sence............
i think you may want to unzip a file you downloaded ?
if that is what you mean then go to winzip.com and download the winzip extractor, install it and then once installed right click on the zip file you downloaded and choose to unzip it.

Yeah, your question makes no sense... the best help I can give you is:
go to start> search>files or folders
select to search on c:
then on the textbox type:
*.zip
that should return a list of all of the zip files you have on your hard drive.
Good luck,

you should be able to make them when you right click on your wallpaper and highlight new. other than that there are programs.
I think win zip can do it.
