Self made by doing what exactly? Even my 5 year-old knows that her vocals in the Spice Girls were kept to the background!
OK, she's the size of a twig, fake breasts, fake tan, even fake delusions of grandeur. Her kids have ridiculous names. She's never read a book in her life (her words, not mine) yet she's managed to 'write' a few herself. And she's a mardy cow to boot... hell, if I was married to Beckham there would be a permanent smile on my face! I've seen slapped backsides that are prettier than her.
In short, she's insipid, a hideous role model for girls and generally epitomises everything I hate about celebrity society.
Will that do ya?

I think she is a very unhappy person. She is always striving to be in the media so has to think up new ideas to get noticed. She is too thin and when she is older she will have a problem with osteoporisis - thinning bones. She should try to put a little weight and eat and sensible diet before it is too late. She should just try to do one thing and keep at it and try to be happy and smile and laugh. Laughter is the best medicine for you. Money is not everything you cannot buy affection with money - the children should be bought up to apprciate money and that they can everything, otherwise they will be unhappy when they grow up.
Victoria should just try to relax more and put on a little weight and laugh and smile everyday.

I agree with you, I think the press and public give her a hard time. She seems like a good mother and she stuck (rightly or wrongly) by her husband after the affair allegations,which must have been awful to do in the public eye. I say leave her alone, she is not the villain here.

There is nothing wrong with her, or David. They are just two people who have made fantastic successes of their lives. Ask any reporter who criticises them how much he made last year and then ask him how much they made.
I saw a documentary once about Victoria and she showed some of the ridiculous stories printed in the papers about her and David. Then she took the copy to the offices of the Sun newspaper who had printed the story. When she arrived they were all over her and invited her in. She asked to see the editor and the guy who wrote the story. When she met them she asked where they had got the story from that was blatantly untrue. They squirmed like worms in the sun and admitted that they hadn't verified it as 'it came from a good source'. She pointed out that it couldn't have as it was not true. She agreed not to sue them if they donated a sizeable sum to charity and printed a retraction. They did.
I had to admire her for that. As far as their lifestyle is concerned then that's their business.
I agree. Lay off her.

the fact that she represents the typical celebrity built by the media and marketing, the fact that she epytomises the fact that our modern culture over values pop talents beyond their talents and that it sells the dream that anyone can make it through hard work and minimal talent? Why should pop stars be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams when so many have to scrape a living around the world.

i like her i think she puts up with a lot of bad press it must be hard for her money and a fit husband doesn't necessarily mean happiness i felt really sorry for her when David's affair was all over the press, hope she can show the world theres more to her than what the papers portray

It's about time that the stupid,shallow woman realised her lack of talent.As a group the spice girls found a niche in "kiddy rock",singing together they sounded passable,since they split all of them have shown a pathetic lack of talent,Mrs. Beckham should do what she does best i.e,nothing.
