Is it me, or landing a job in Southern California has gotten harder and harder?

of course it has.

our population explosion is what kills the job market. there are just too many damn people here.

i'm ready to just throw some stuff in a backpack and head out east.

No, it is not you. That's why you need to enjoy doing things you ever wanted to do, but no time for it. It's not easy to find a job, especially in CA. A lot of graduates consider moving away to different states. It sucks. I am thinking about the southwest or east, too.
