I have just about had it with that show.
Every week they promise "This episode will change everything" or "X will finally be revealed". - And you know what - IT NEVER HAPPENS. plus, they squeeze in commercials EVERY FIVE MINUTES!
Take the past episode. NOTHING HAPPENED. NOTHING! No mysteries were solved, the whole second island thing is stupid (why didn't Jin, Sun and Sayid see it?) - there are so many holes this season - it's like the writers don't even care anymore
My plan is to give it 2 more episodes. If it doesn't pick up I am giving up on it.
Question - have you given up already? How much longer will you watch?

What did we learn this past week?
1. jack, kate and sawyer are on a different island, that for some reason, noone on the first island can see
2. we already knew that desmond could see the future, what we learned this week is that he can CHANGE what he sees
3. the others have a sub
that's about it

I don't even know what to think about this show anymore, it seems like they just keep yanking my chain. I am getting really tired of it and really another island? No one noticed? What was with the clip of an"alien" looking thing? Yeah! and all those commercials, sometimes I forget what I'm watching. I've had it my time is worth more.

technically in the 3 seasons only about a month has passed on the island each episode is one day.
If you pay really close attention things are revealed in every episode like in last weeks episode they found out they were on a different island, Jack found out he was kidnapped to preform surgery on one of the others. You found out that Desmond sees the future since he was blown out of the hatch (he made the lightning rod in order to save Claire and the baby from being hit by lightning.) You found out that Kate really likes Sawyer because she had the chance to escape but decided to stay. Everything is interlaced to relate to something else.... I think it's a really cool show and I will watch until the end.

This season has been very dissapointing. I liked the first episode ok. The second and third were boring. This fourth episode i liked pretty good though. I think it did answer a few questions like why they brought Jack there. Plus I like Sawyers character alot and anytime you get to see evangeline lilly it is a plus she is the hottest thing alive. But I will keep watching it no matter what happens, but i defiantely agree it has gone only downhill from the first season.

I'll keep watching as long as Sawyer keeps taking his shirt off.
This season has taken off pretty slowly. They ended last season as if Desmond was going to be the new main character and the plot would begin to revolve around him.
I feel like everyone's all scattered about and hard to keep track of. They better make the next couple of weeks extra-satisfying and give us SOME kind of answers before they disappear until -- what is it -- freakin' FEBRUARY!?!?!?
Not sure a 3-month hiatus was really the answer to the show's losing viewers....

I completely plan on watching it until the end. If you expect something big to be explained in the next 2 episodes, you're wasting your breath. If anything is revealed, it will be over a longer time than 2 weeks.

Yes- I can't wait! As for being less confused- Good Luck! I've been watching since day 1 and I'm constantly lost. But isn't it great to watch a show that has enough depth to get you confused?

After this past week, how can you give up??
There are some episodes, like last week's, I did not enjoy, but overall Lost is a GREAT SHOW!!
Yes there are many questions every week, and not all the questions have been answered, but that's why they want you to tune in everyweek.

Lost gets sillier and sillier every episode, and everytime a big answer is revealed it creates several more big questions. But - I still enjoy it a lot, it's entertaining. I'll probably watch all the episodes they make, unless I start to dislike it. You sound like you don't enjoy watching it anymore, you should stick with your 'two more episodes' plan. Good luck.

Let it go now. I let Lost go 2nd season between the commercials and the repeats I got lost watching the show. They take you there and leave you out hanging I got tired. I watch 24 (no repeats) and Nip/Tuck that show keeps you wanting more.

I'll probably watch it till the end. I still like lost, while, for example, Desperate Housewives have turned into a complete disappointment - they're like a soap opera.
