If so whay did you think of it was it any good. I think it came out in 1997 so i know it's a little older but i was thinking of buying it.

It's an awesome movie! Kevin Spacey and Russell Crowe are dreamy in it. Guy Pearce plays the sexiest nerd I've ever seen. Kim Bassinger won the Oscar for Best Actress for her portrayal of a prostitute, and speaking of which, there's a hilarious scene where Kevin Spacey's character mistakes movie star Lana Turner for a call girl! It's a cool look at old Hollywood and police corruption. A classic worth seeing and owning.

I loved it! I have seen it many times. The guy that wrote the novel, James Ellroy, really captures the corrupt LAPD in the 1940s. All the performances were great, in my opinion.

sorry,haven't seen it and I will never see it:it sucks bit time like the episodes on TV.
