Well I'm assuming who ever signed it isn't that important, because you want to wash it and wear it. If your trying to preserve the shirt, I wouldn't wear it or wash it at all.

Do Not Wear the shirt it is a collectors item and should be framed. That is what most people would do depending on who's signature it is.

If you write over the autograph it will become worthless. The best thing is to have it framed and make sure the person doing the framing is using an acid free backing otherwise it will draw the ink from the material. also use a light protected glass

don't wash the shirt. or go over the signature with permanent marker so that it stays longer.

Don't wear it and don't wash it in the washing machine. Frame it in some way and put it up on your wall

well you could write over it with a permanent marker but that would take away the value of it. i personally would never wear or wash it if it was that important.
