I don't say thank you, most of the time, but it's not becasue I think I deserve it and a thank you is unnecessary. Now that I think of it, I don't know why I don't. Maybe I should?
By the way, I have never received an e/mail of someone saying thank you when I gave them ten points so I do not think it is that common.

I actually hadn't done it but started going back over my best answers and saying thank you if the asker chose me. I did just thank the last person that chose me.

I say 'thank you' not because I feel I deserve whatever was done, but because I am grateful that someone has take time out of their lfe for me, regardless how big or small.

well it depends. Sometimes i just pick any of the answers just to get my points (i really need them .-lol). However, if the person has been really nice then i say something nice to them too.

Do whatever you believe to be right. Though a thank you is nice and polite, it may not be required (or expected). But perhaps you can make someone's day . . .
