Crouch All-Time Top Scorer at Anfield!!?
This is like getting an infant who just started walking, to start running.
To become the top scorer he will have to break Ian Rush's record of 337 goals. Even beat the great Roger Hunt's total of 285. Not to mention other illustrious greats, who have scored well over 150 goals. They include the likes of Billy Liddell, Kenny Dalgish, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen.
And with so much competition for striking roles at the club, it is unlikely that Crouch will ever the large amount of games that he needs, in order to break the record.
If he can score just 100 goals for them, it will be an achievement in itself.

At Southampton scored some good goals but not many, mostly because of lack of service, at Liverpool and for England he's getting his head and amazingly other bits of his body to the ball more often so lots more to come, BUT Liverpool have had some great players over the years, not sure of the the tally or who is current top scorer but I would imagine Crouchie will struggle to topple the likes of dalglish, fowler and co.

At 6ft 7in, he should be able to beat anybody in the air, but I don't know that he is consistent or prolific enough to get close to Rushie's scoring record let alone beat it. And if Gerrard's crossing is as wayward as it is at present, then even the advantage Crouch has with his height is negated.

Ian Rush scored 346 goals for Liverpool. How on earth is any player now or in the future going to beat that?

He's got no chance! He'll get the chances, but half of them'll end up in the stands! To catch up to Rushie is a bit far fetched. That's like asking will Saha score as many as Bobby Charlton?!

I think that if Benitez can pull his head out and stick with a decent starting line-up Crouch can become one of the top goal scorers in Prem history.

hmm... i think for L'pool this season, he'll get the top goal scorer of the club. But don't think he can beat L'pool's all time top scores record. But he got some great skills when scoring a goal.
