What scares me is why are radically religious U.S Muslims voting liberal Democrat?

If you look historically, then liberals are the clear choice.
Here's a timeline for you:
1776: Conservatives are against the Declaration of Independence (We're British! We should stay British!)
1787: Conservatives are against the Bill of Rights (We don't need a document to explain our rights!)
1860: Conservatives support slavery (Slavery is an important part of the economy! We can't change it!)
1890: Conservatives are against the Sherman Anti-Trust Act (We've always had monopolies! They're good for America!)
1920: Conservatives refuse to join the League of Nations (We don't like the rest of the world!)
1933: Conservatives are against the New Deal (Americans don't need social security!)
1939: Conservatives are against World War II (America doesn't need to fight the Nazis!)
1964: Conservatives are against Civil Rights (Blacks don't need civil rights!)
1970s: Conservatives are against equal rights for women (Women don't need equal rights!)
1990: Conservatives are against the Clean Air Act (The government shouldn't control what businesses do!)
There are many, many, many other examples.
So as history has moved forward, conservatives have tried to slow its progress as much as possible. That's what they do. Fortunately for the rest of the country, they usually lose.

I'm not a fan of either, but at this point when things are going so wrong in our nation, and particularly in Iraq, I would say the liberals. Liberals by definition are those who embrace change, and without the willingness to change when its necessary a society's survival is in jeopardy.

There are times in History when it is best to be a peacemaker and appeaser, those times are for liberal Chamberlains.
