Mostly, because Christian Conservatives watered down the U.S. public school curriculums over the last fifty years until our average math and science scores can't compete with Ethiopia's. People in this nation are SO lacking in critical-thinking skills they cannot even comprehend basics like genetics or that dinosaurs came before humans. Also, Bush's administration and Republican/Conservatives are practicing the BIG LIE. It's a Nazi propaganda technique that helps make people act really stupid and helpless. Politics has always been a show. Why should we be able to tell the difference now? If you want the truth about what politions do you have to look at senate and congressional records. You have to look past all the b.s. and find out for yourself. Then you can go back to entertainment when you find out just how useless they all are.

I agree. I don't like that rhetoric from either side, and I think it is just wrong, as most people are so undereducated as to not know the difference. Television "news" is also just entertainment, and I have not watched that stuff in a couple of decades.

Is there a difference? If there is it isn't much. It reminds me of the argument two sports fanatics would have if they were arguing about which of their favorite teams is the best. Neither can see the good in the other.
