I have noticed that there are several questions here that are posted to see how people react and those questions are the ones that get the most answers...for example, questions like Should I put my cat in the washer and dryer? or I am married and having sex with someone else,is that cheating? also get people answering like crazy, while serious questions don't get paid attention to. Why do you think this is? Why do people post questions just to see how everyone reacts when the answers are obvious? What do you think?

OMG.....I haven't seen the questions you are talking about (cat in the washer/dryer or the cheating thing) but actually I think that's kind of funny, and I guess I WOULD answer them if I was in a silly mood and just wanted to blow off steam.

You have to remember that a lot of the people on here are teens, who just don't take a lot of things seriously. And sometimes, people just want to come on here and have fun and leave the seriousness behind because they are feeling overwhelmed by their OWN lives and just need to get a chuckle to make them feel lighter inside.

I will answer ANY question, serious or not, if I feel led to respond. And yes, I have been known to ask an offbeat question from time to time, just to lighten things up and make people smile. In fact, this morning I asked, "If Ronald McDonald and The Burger King had a fight, who would win?" It was totally inane, but I got a few smiles out of the answers.

Hope this helps!

Probably either masochistic or attention seeking. What I find more annoying is people who ask a question and immediately give a best answer to the one person out of 20 who agreed with them. Why ask if you don't actually want to hear anyone else's point of view?

I think they're only looking for attention, but some people need to be one of those who need the Lime light.

I thought it was a club of sorts I tolerate iton the one hand and sometimes even chime in on the other . shows a good sense of
freedom although I wish serious questions sometimes got a
response that is frustrating! thanks for your perception
