Do lesbian and bisexual girls get annoyed by straight girls who call themselves 'bisexual' because they kiss their friends when drunk or grope each others breasts, in order to impress men?

Yes, pretty much. It's trendy to claim bisexual status, but so many who do it never suffer what bisexuals have to: biphobia from both sides (gay and straight), bi-invisibility, accusations of being undecisive or greedy, calling it a phase or confusion, and all other sorts of stigmas and stereotypes that abound.

Not to mention that they undermine the cause by making it seem like a whim thing to do (like kiss someone drunk), rather than a valid, true sexual orientation.

No, not at all. They've got to live with themselves not me. I would more consider their behavior in bad taste out in public if they're groping each other's breasts. As for kissing, kissing is just kissing unless it's sloppy and open mouthed. Then again it falls into the in bad taste catagory while out in public.

I can tell you they used to drive me NUTS! There is a gay club that I used to go to, in the middle of Boston that has a lot of colleges. Often I would be the only Lesbian in there, even though it was wall to wall women, because every other girl in there was just what you described. I stayed single for two years going to this place with my gay boys who were always meeting guys there - it was quite aggravating to get hit on by or start talking to a girl and then be told that she only "plays" with her best friend.

I think that the ones who do this are very selfish.

I once knew a "bi" woman who was married to a man, which she took to a gay bar so she could hook up with women while her husband just looked on. I tried to just talk to him and she got viciously jealous because I was near him.

In college, we called those girls "a six-pack away."
They never bothered me personally. Whats wrong with a pretty girl who wants to make out with you for a few hours? Unless, of course, her boyfriend finds out and gets pissed. Thats a little scary.

Yep. Well I do at least. It's more like... they realize that they weren't gettin all the attention once people started being more open with their sexuality, and started to find ways to once again... come out on top, so to speak.
I never say anything to them, although Id like to at times, I just laugh to myself, or to my friends because only we realize how truly desparate for attention they really are...

I've known a few girls like this and it doesn't bother me because I like kissing girls regardless of their sexual orientation.

I do. Because of them, people assume I'm like that. Just because I'm bisexual, it doesn't mean I can't be monogamous!
