Take WHITE or very, very pale powder and cover your face, neck -- and lips. Accent your eyes (top and bottom) with dark eyeliner, smudged a bit (you don't want to look hard). Wear your hair loose and down.
Now, you can go several ways. If you're a Grudge fan, tease your hair a little, throw on an old (white) sheet or nightgown and slink around the party, hair in your eyes, making those weird inhaling noises that freaking ghost did (still scares my daughter!).
Or...wear whatever you want. Same make-up. But add a trickle of red paint at the corner of your mouth. Voila! You are a vampire.
I did this once, wearing a long white cotton Laura Ashley dress. You should've seen people in the adjacent car at the intersection bolt when I turned to look at them and they saw the blood!

I went to a rummage shope and bought a long black skirt and a black shawl, I had a long sleeve black shirt, and I went to Walmart and bought a black witches hat, added a few things to it, like some plastic spiders and some bats, I have dark hair but they have cheap hair there too. I just really put on lots of makeup and added some big warts with rubbery material, I sewed spiders on my skirt and made some into long ear rings, bought nails and painted them black and put some dry ice in a bucket with some water where it will make fumes......you can add things it is fun!

This year I am going to be a card the queen of hearts. I got a crown from Wal-Mart $3, some foam from second hand store $3 or you could use poster board. Then I just painted a card on the foam.

Put your PJs on & a robe. Put your hair in rollers & carry a coffee mug. On the back of your robe put a sign " I don't do morniings"
