For halloween costumes, how common are non scary costumes, I'm thinking of going as James Bond, is that a good idea?

At Halloween party's, unique costumes are the ones that win the votes. James Bond would stand out.

That's a good idea. Just because its a costume & halloween doesn't mean it has to be scary! The point is to have fun!

It seems like a lot of people choose the non-scary costumes, which is cool. It's like playing dress up when we were kids, and I find that the non-scary costumes are more clever/interesting.

Too many people dress very UN-halloweenish these days. I'm not saying it should be scary but it should be at least a little spooky or supernatural like a black cat, a ghost, a vampire, a witch, a wizard etc.

I would imagine that most are actually not scary.

Wear whatever you want. You shouldn't have to ask permission or seek approval on what to dress up as.

Yes great idea, but you could also think of Catwoman or the Fantastic Four etc. Good luck!
