Im planning on telling my mom and sister im pregnant (whom im very close with) and i want it to be a nice surprise.

With my first one I had a small box and put the pregnancy test inside and tied it with a bow to look like a present, then I told everyone to see what terrific present my husband had given me. For my second I made a shirt for my first child to wear, on the front it said, "guess what" and on the back it said "I'm gonna be a big brother". It was lots of fun to see people's reactions to both. I used to work in a restaurant and one day a girl came in with her husband and had their server bring out a plate covered in baby things, bottles, bibs, and pacifiers, and he was so shocked. You can call it the dessert and include a heartfelt card or something like that.

My husband made cookies each of the cookies had a different letter on them. So we had dinner then husband brought out the cookies gave one to each person and said to remember your letter. Then they put thier letters together and had to unscramble the message. Ours said knocked up...(I thought i would be too easy with pregnant). any how everyone got a big kick out of it.

My mother in law was sick with the flu last year, and I emailed her a scan of the first ultrasound... needless to say she felt much better after that!!!

You can always buy the shirt that says "BABY" with an arrow pointing down (although you won't show yet). Congratulations and God Bless You all.

For your mom gift wrap a bib that reads "Best Grandma" or something of that sort and one for your sister that reads "Best aunt".

Well When I have food on my plate and other people want to pick off my plate I tell them "Hey you are intruding on dangerous pregnant people territory, I will fire at will."

I called my sisters individually and asked them if they wanted to be called ant, aunt or auntie!

I waited until I was showing and they just tryed asking if I had gained weight without being rude. I thought it was funny. lol

maybe for your mum by a necklace or something with nan written on it but not sure about your sister
