Thanks for the suggestions so far. They've been helpful.
I have one poem published in the National Library already, but I don't like the set up since you get no renumeration for your own intellectual property and like you said, you have to buy the book to see your own poem.
I'm not sure about LuLu. Self publishing is a last resort.
Bloodaxe isn't accepting anything new at the moment.
I'll be sending to Publish America. However I like options. Anyone else have any ideas?

There aren't many left in the UK, but Bloodaxe is one of the best.

If you are looking to publish a book of poetry, PublishAmerica does not charge any upfront fees or any other fees. There is also LuLu. If you are looking to publish individual poems, the National Library of Poetry publishes poetry at no charge. The only catch with that is if you want a copy of the book the poem is in, you have to purchase the book that the poetry is published in from them, and it is rather pricy (around $40-$60). Publishing online on their website is free, however. Good luck!

If you can borrow $2,000 you should try printing 1000 copies and distribute them on the web, see if you can recoup your investment and maybe a bigger publisher may take up your work on a larger scale.

It is good to use other peoples money, but if you have something that wil work, then any money will do.
