Why do you think they are quiet?
I want you to tell me what you think is the cause of their quietness?

Diffused the situation. Talk calmly...ask if you can be of some help...be compassionate and thoughtful...mentally ill persons quivver at common things. They have dreaded fears of simple things...an elevator, a bridge, a dog...because of some traumatic experience in their past.....anxiety to them could feel like a heart attack so take it seriously.

i start to feel like anxious too. and also i try to talk to them to see if by menas of speaking they can feel a little bit better. Sometimes these people feel like this because they don´t know how to start a conversation, so they feel releived when the other person does it.
