If you're looking for something to give an 18 year old girl, here are some ideas:
~Find out what kind of music she likes and buy her a CD.
~A movie
~If she lives away from home, you can get her things for her home (baking pans, salad bowls, fancy food mixes [many places sell neat things like cake mixes], towels, sheets, etc.)
~Lotion, bubble bath, loofah, etc.
~A book (one that you've read and think she will like)
~You can't go wrong with gift certificates (to a nice restaurant, the mall, Best Buy, a clothing store she likes, a movie theater, etc.)

if she smokes, buy her a cigarette-case, but with muniment like:
