What does the casing of a Motorola PEBL consist of?

I have a 'black licorice' version that feels a bit soft while acting tough.. Just wondering what sort of material this blackness is. My laptop shell is made of the same thing..

Hmmmm, black vibrating rubber huh? I think I like the real thing too much!

It is made from a rubberised Polyuerathane, which is very gay
