Good Lord, can we as Americans stop being so thin skinned!!!!
Why would you or anyone else jump to conclusion on asking whether "a boneheaded move" and racism are connected. All boneheaded means is that he was making an analogy that whomever made the mistake/error/foolish play did it without using his mind.
How does that have anything to do with racism? Don't be so quick to pass around the racism card to someone because they made an impolite comment.

As a person with a skull, I personally take offense to the remark. People with skulls should to be treated with as much dignity and reverence as the non-skullers.
I think the ACLU, Al Sharpton, Barack Oboma, Ted Kennedy, The National Organization for Women and the Daughters of the American Revolution need to band together in this time of crisis and march on Washington until Mr. Dierdorf is fired.
BONE POWER!

As I am of the "race" of bone heads, according to my spouse, I would take pride at the recognition of a fellow bonehead any day or time.

Racism is based ont he race or color of a person's skin. Being a "bonehead" has nothing to do with race.
So, no.

I wonder if the person asking this question is the same person who fired Steve Lyons, because it makes about as much sense.

Not at all. We all have skulls regardless of our race, and any of us can be boneheaded
