I'm a bilingual girl and I'm interested on becoming an interpreter but I haven't found much info around the area where Iive. I'm interested on becoming a medical interpreter/translator.

Do you live in the US? There are federal and state certification exams that you can take because you will get much more work if you are accredited. For medical interpretation in particular, some hospitals (like Kaiser in CA) have their own processes for certification. If you're really serious about doing this, you could look into attending a school such as the Monterey Institute for Translation and Interpretation; that's my dream. :)

First you study well Chineese and Japaneese language through a mediator (Better than self study)even from an Institute or a teacher ,you do some translation in both language.This should be in a systemetical way .After you get good confidence, You are qualified to applay Foreign Language Dept.

There's probably a few different roads you could take. There should be programs like speech therapy, speech, English, or a foreign language that you can take to achieve that goal. Find a school you're interested in and research the programs they offer that are even remotely related to the field. You should definetely find something. If not, you should consider going to school in another area.
