i would give it atleast 2 weeks. A lot of the times the female has a feeling that she is pregnant, sleeping a lot, mood swings, emotions going heywire.. Atleast 2 weeks and i can guarantee u can tell with a home test.

Most pregnancy tests will say right on the box exactly how long before your missed period you can do them and how accurate they will be then. Given a normal 28 day cycle, it can be anywhere from 7-14 days after conception. But unless you've only had sex once this month, you really don't know when actual conception was, so I would use the "about five days before your missed period" approach.
Good luck!

It really depends on when implantation happens. The hcg levels will start to rise dramatically once that happens, and it can take place anytime between 6-14 days after fertilization. You could test before your AF is due, but if it comes out neg it's not 100%, bc you may have implanted later. I'd give it atleast 5 days after AF is due, then you should get an accurate answer. Tests saying that they are accurate at 7-10 dpo are for those who are pregnant and who implanted within that time frame.
Hope this helps!

The new digital pregnancy test gives you an answer 7 days before your period is due - so approximately 7 days after you think you have conceived you can check.

Most HPTs say the earliest they can detect hcg is around 10 dpo. 7dpo is probably too early, though I'm sure you can find someone on here who knew that soon.

depends on when your cycle is due, usually a week after your cycle is due your body will know its pregnent and start to develop the HCG hormone. When your body doesn't shed the egg (at normal cycle time) it will know and produce HCG.
