I've noticed that persons with schizophrenia tend to stare a lot. They hold your eyes longer than is normal with others; sometimes they just stop and look at you for a long time. It is strange, but I've seen it with a few people who have exhibitied other signs of schizophrenia, so it may be one of the manifestations of the illness.
