"Get a life" may be one of the most arrogant and demeaning retorts going. It suggests that the way the person being spoken to is living us substandard, and that they should either live up to the speaker's expectations or go crawl in a hole somewhere. I have a life, thank you, and it suits me just fine. I don't expect people to live as I do and, if others think I should live as they do to measure up, they can bite me.
