Cruise control set as follows: 60 in a 55, 63 in a 60, 67 in a 65, 71 in a 70, 75 in a 75. Follow speed limit below 55. That is what all those trucks out there are doing by the way.

You are being silly. The speed limit is stationary, on a sign by the side of the road, on it's surface or over it. How can you follow it? You'd have to stand as still as the letters "mph", which is pretty still. I don't think it is allowed to follow the speed limit, the police would be after you.

Not necessarily. But I DO follow the flow of traffic at all times. If the speed limit is 40, and if it's a high traffic road, and everybody on the road is doing 50 or above you could get run over if you strictly adhere to the 40 rule. You've got to run with the herd or you could get killed.

I rarely adhere to the speed limit. Speed limits are artifically kept low (when they could easily and safely be higher on most roads) in order for the police to be able to make money off speeding tickets. It has been scientifically proven that most speed limits should be higher and that in fact, people who drive slowly cause more accidents than speeders. We're not talking extreme speeders going 110 MPH here, we're talking slight speeders.

well, After paying 2 tickets, you learn to "Look " for the cops. At night you can tell a cop car from others, by the shape of the headlights. I know where they usually Sit in my neighborhood. So I watch my speed in that area. Also depending on what time of thw day I'm driving and the location i'm in. HAHA

Errrrmmm...

When you say speed limits, do you mean those idiot signs along the road, or the limit on the clock of whatever I'm driving or riding?

When in the Jeep, yes. It is almost impossible to speed when it goes from 0-60 in like 4 hours. When on the bike, I am guilty of "goosing it" from time to time. I am bad, and I need a spanking.
