The question lacks a truthful premise. I don't believe this propaganda is helpful to anyone but the terrorists.

You are saying some people are so blinkered in how they see they world but you then go and do the same.
I'm a white Englishman, i'm not religeous at all and i don't hate Muslims or any other religion or people from any country.
Why do you think i automatically should take the side of either?
I agree with some things the Americans have done and not others, i have the right to evaluate current situations and make a decision at that time such as the Iraq war.
There has been no weapons of mass destruction found since the Iraq war but if there had maybe history would be looking on things quite diffrently.
There are people in the world who have always hated the Americans well before the Iraq war and have used it in many ways to thier advantage.
I'm not going to get into a debate with you because it would be wasting everyones time on here, the fact you call certain answers 'dumb' just because you don't agree with them says it all.
It is BECAUSE of people like you that others are dying on ALL sides every day.

Simply put, there's nothing to be grateful for. The only reason the U.S. went into Iraq is the oil. Why didn't the U.S. help Tibet for example when it was invaded? Simply - no financial interest. While the insurgents are terrorists without doubt, one could debate that they have been provoked. Let's not forget that the Taliban and Osama bin Laden were the U.S.'s allies during the war between Afghanistan and the U.S.S.R.(Soviet Union). And of course the reason for the second Gulf War - Saddam's weapons of mass destruction. (They're still searching for them). And the reason for the first Gulf war - to get rid of a dictator. A noble pursuit but Saddam wasn't the only dictator in the world last time I had a look.
Allow me to disagree with the hatred post - 9/11, it's been there for a lot longer. Some of the hatred is due to jealousy. You get a lot of it when you're at the top. But most of the hatred is because of the American government's policy changes throughout the years, depending mostly on economic interests but also political. I would just like the U.S. to stop playing the global cowboy game. Money is better spent on improving the economy than the army.

This is just my own option, but I think the world should be grateful to us because (1) if Sadam Hussein had been left to his own devices, he would have eventually have caused a war for all middle eastern countries. I believe that all of Iraq neightbors are safer because we are in Iraq. (2) Our soliders are not killing civilians, they are killing people who shot at them. The poor civilians you are talking about are being killed by terrorists (most of whom are Iraqis) who are trying to take over the government of Iraq so that they can call the shots in Iraq. I, also, believe that 9/11 happened because these terrorists believed that we would not do anything but wring our hands and beg them not to do anything else to hurt us. To be safe in our own country, I believe that these people must know that there will be swift and certain actions against them. I believe that Iraq within the next 2-3 years will form its own government that will protect all the Iraqi people and punish lawbreakers if we do not pull out of Iraq now. If we pull out, no American anywhere not in America or any foreign country will be safe. .

*scratches head* I come from a country (Finland) where we haven't gotten anything from USA, and neither is our trade dependent on it (We have our domestic fast food restaurants, thankyou very much).
I struggle to find anything I've gotten that is from the US. WW2 we were not allied with the Allies, we received no development aid afterwards, and our foreign trade is not dependent on the US.
So, what's left? Late Night With Conan O'Brien is America's greatest export to Finland.
We are more highly educated group of people, everyone gets free lunches at school, higher education is free, we contribute the most to peacekeeping missions compared to our population in the world... Well, we are generally better at everything, frankly.
Too bad we are a really small nation.

notice please, that the entire world is run, because America allows it to do so, not to put the US on a pedestal but. Look at how much of your economy is run by American goods, and American owned companies, Coca cola, Mc Donald's, etc. The worlds economies revolve around America and the world hates it.
listen to Ramstiens Amerika, even the Germans realize it.
now as far as Iraq is concerned, we are only concerned about one country The USA, as we should be, now please notice, there have been no terrorist attacks on Us soil since 9/11, apparently our beloved president is doing something right, which includes NOT listening to you knuckle headed countries or giving a damn about your feelings on the issue

well they bought junk food and unhealthy eating; trashy entertainment; Freudian mass marketing techniques and consumerism, to ensure that the previous 2 and the next become embedded both in the US and abroad; throw away, low quality products; the wonderful culture of politics eg political forums more like a celebrity show, politicians blatantly lieing and because they pretend no one has noticed they get away with it... hmmm, obesity... now that is definately and american import... comes with the trashy food i guess, so more jobs in the NHS... what else... oh of course now we wouldn't have a war on terror if it wasn't for them... and think of all the jobs it has created !!!!! well now... that is a major plus on the economy.... sorry a few people die... but for every soldier dead, that's one off the unemployment list as a new one is recruited. ok so a few civilians die... hmmm sorry about that, we'll send flowers to their funeral.
anyhooo, hope i answered you question ok
hugs and kisses

Blame the terrorist for the civilian murders in Iraq.. They're the ones strapping bombs on and walking into civilian congested areas before detonating.... NOT the US troops...

I agree completely, America does as they wish with the lives of the people in the countries they are supposedly helping. It has been done since all of your ancestors who MIGRATED to the Americas and stole the land from those who were living in peace here.
