Sure jeans change from bootleg, flare, faded, etc. but will the actual jean material go out of style?

Maybe in the future...what if jeans won't be good enough protection? Don't you want to wear those cool outfits from Star Trek? haha...so hot! Nah, I'm just kidding. We all hope they never go out of style, but who really knows...

Denim will never go out of style. It has been an American tradition since Levi Strauss in the early 50s and will continue forever. There are so many types of denim you can wear, short, long, skinny, dresses, shirts, vests, hats, etc etc. Take a look at Jessica Simpson she must have over 200 pairs of jeans.

Eventually sure. But as for the time being, no. They are functional and have a long working history. Denim is a good textile. Any Cotton Textile is good. But eventually land will be insuficent to support farming. That time is fast approaching.
Population of humans doubles every 20 years or so, and they need pants.

I certainly hope so! Once, they were working clothes for cowboys, etc. who can use cheap but rugged pants. Author Donald Hamilton said if denim is fashionable, burlap and tarpaulin should be too. Gay Talese said he wouldn't wear jeans to the corner. I agree with these intelligent authors. It is ridiculous to see denim jeans worn with elegant sports jackets and ties. Some even wear them with dinner jackets. I would not admit such people to my Nob Hill parties.

I would say "NO". If their were not jeans I don't know what I would do. I have worn jeans for 55 years now and I have some that are too small, some too large and some that really fit me. Jeans can be worn as casual and dress up too. By dressing them up, u can wear vests, jackets, all kind of shoes, especially heels, cowboy boots, and you can wear them at your regular length, or cuff them to certain lengths. Thanks for asking this question. BJP
