does anyone know where to get safety chains for these doors as my 2 year old likes to try and escape. i cant keep them locked as im a childminder and it against fire and safety rules

Find a local double Glazing company and go to their trade counter. They will help you I am sure. With a chain the door isn't locked to the person on the inside as you do not need to hunt for a key. If locked by a Key then this could be lost and cause a safety issue.

Council did ours with triple locks,spy holes, letter box plus
the safety chain and your council should have done the same as
this is a requirement of the safety laws.
Ring them on Monday.

Surely a chain would be against the safety rules as well!

Try a Good hardware store
They are available for pvc doors

well wouldnt a safety chain be against the rules then because its basicly the same as locking the door because you cant open it while the chains on
