Someone sent me a text message and put btw on the end! What the hell does this mean!?!? maybe i am getting old but i have never heard of it and have no idea what it stands for!!!

Hi -
BTW means, "by the way," and is not used as a way to end a message. I think it was misused, unless it was followed by something else, such as, "BTW, I'll be off work tomorrow so I won't see you." Maybe the person meant to type BFN or something? If it's a friend, ask them to see what the intent was.

It means by the way. Don't worry nowadays nobody understands a word in text messages, or 'txt msgs' as they get called... Thats the rendy thing to do I think :S Good luck with the texting lol. I'm only sixtenn and never do it because text language annoys me.

it meansby the way but dont know why it would be on the end of the message something would normally follow afterwards but never mind maybe some txt missing.......
