I was kind of disapointed with the way Ugly Betty ended last night with the father turing out to be an illegal immigrant. I don't think it was a good way for the show to go especially with what is going on right now with the country and everything. It will be interesting to see what happens to the show now.

i agree. her family (especially her sister) is too stuck on being a simple hispanic family. her sister does not want Betty to promote in the world. It's sad. the show has alot of bad themes to it ~ like the job is all about back-stabbing each other too!

This show kind of deals with the real world how people can be cruel to someone just based on their looks and how they dress. How ppl in the fashion or business industry stab each other in the back just to get ahead . In some aspects it is very real . in others it is just comedy ,but it will be exciting to see what happens when they find out her father is in this country illegally . I felt sorry for her dad having to tell betty that . you could see he was not proud of that. Good luck and god bless.

'Ugly Betty' is because Hitler failed, Kennedy was killed, the Stratigic Air Command disbanded, Clintons elected, OJ Simpson got off, Orca has a TV show, whizmania replaced Letterman & nitwits are obviously in charge! [duh!]

It's a real world situation right now.. Maybe they can come up with a humane answer that our government can't seem to figure out....
