I don't know if that many of the people who participate in Yahoo Answers are old enough to know what you're talking about.

To answer your other question: Yes, I've always liked 50s and 60s rock, I've uploaded a lot of it to my warez site. Eddie Cochran is my favorite, with Jerry Lee Lewis a close second. I pretty much like em all: Chuck Berry, Elvis, the Big Bopper, Buddy Holly, etc. I don't really like the 50s "crooners" that much (Richie Valens). Johnny Rivers is one of the greatest songwriters that ever lived.

I have no direct memory of the plane crash. I was very young. When I was 5 in 1961, I had a brother that was 18 and a sister that was 16. I was exposed to a lot of the music at a very early age. I remember liking the song "Blue Moon". I've always been a fan of the Beach Boys. My tastes developed along the lines of the late 60's and early 70's.

Pumpkin head... are you Clay Aiken?

Most of the people on here are a bit too young to remember the crash that killed Valens, Holly and the Bopper. I am also too young but I grew up with parents that listened to the music and I loved it till about 1986 or so... right about the time I started listening to Def Leppard and such... it's all good my man...
