1) LOAD WIN XP CD AND RESTART
2) AT START-UP, PRESS DEL TO ENTER BIOS MODE
3) SELECT ADVANCE BIOS SETUP
CHANGE 1st BOOT FROM CDROM
(REVERT BACK AFTER FINISH)
CHANGE 3rd BOOT FROM FLOPPY
(REVERT BACK AFTER FINISH)
4) CHOOSE DELETE DRIVE TO TOTALLY FORMAT IT
(CHOOSE EITHER FAT OR NTFS)
5) CREATE PARTITION: BY CHOOSING CREATE DRIVE
(IF YOU NEED A PARTITION)
6) THEN INDICATE VOLUME SIZE FOR DRIVE
7) CHOOSE INSTALL NEW TO :-
8) REPEAT FOR 2nd DRIVE FORMAT & INSTALLATION
(IF PARTITION IS REQUIRED)

This usually depends on the computer that you have.
Nowadays, many have a predefined key (such as F2) that you can press when you start it which allows you to change the boot order. Check to make sure you son't see anything when starting the computer that says "Press (whatever key) for boot options".
If you are in the BIOS, again you should look for the boot order.
If the BIOS is set to use the hard drive (HDD) before trying the CD drive, then it will usually detect your existing installation of windows and will never even look in the CD drive. Change the boot order so that the CD is before the HDD.

With CD in drive before starting computer, push power button. F12 is a common one to press to get boot setup. Use arrow keys to select drive option to boot. Windows XtraPuke will then do its thing. Make sure you fetch the bucket.

did you know xp takes more hard drive memory and uses more resocres on you computer.(makes it run slower)
so going with 2000 would be better.

you have to go to the boot menu once it starts up it is either f1, f2, f8, or f12. it depends on the biose installed. then from the boot menu go to start from cd.
