I would say about 600 a week (£) i don't think i could do it for any less.

about £24k to start off in London but then u can easily run up the scale, plus unbelievable benefits on housing etc. golden handshakes etc etc. all stuff that college and uni lecturers dont get - bizzre that u have to hold multiple degrees, phd and teach and publish regualrly to be a uni lecturer, and have les holidays and work longer hours. but often are paid less than some teachers in london... but as someone said about the teaching - u dont do it for the money.

600 a week with fuel prices and cost of living is low. Ask around you local area and they may give you a higher pay. The best thing you can do is search. Good luck!

You could try using salary.com or payscale.com

They're US, but tend to have UK data also and should give you a good idea across all the different departments, locations and levels

Dream on! More like half that and you certainly dont do a challenging job like that for the money. It has its own rewards.
