Compared to today's culture of gun-toting, hooded youths who seem to commit wanton acts of violence and mindless thuggery with indiscretion?

The old timers who wouldn't swear in front of a lady were just adding hypocrisy to their crimes. Give me the modern crook who shows, plainly, that he is evil - you then have a clearer view of who is the enemy of decent, law-abiding people.

Definitely - go on one of "mad" Frankie Fraser's talks and you will learn the code...still works today because he is happy for cash to be sent in the post as he says that no-one will ever steal from him!!!
The thugs today have way tooooo much time ontheir hands, with social security and not working -we should be like Australia, they have to work for their dole and only get so long before they get nothing at all.

Yes I think so...my uncle is John McVicar & he was involved a lot with the Krays, although they did kill people their moral code was far more respectfull if ya know what I mean...Gone are the days of concrete Boots & the such like. Now we have just madness
