Middle class folks are obsolete, thats what i heard on the news. you are either making it or your not. I guess i'm poor, because i am making it but only by a buck or two. And do i think i will hold onto that position, well the buck or two part may go up, but i will never be rich.

This presupposes that everyone has the American system of class, which is based on income rather than lifestyle. In the UK it is possible to be super poor *and* middle class. :)

i used to be wavering around the poverty line, then elvated to uber middle class/quasi rich -- but that really sucked, so now i'm somewhere between bohemian and starving artist, which is exactly where I need to be. If I can maintain my bills, I'll stay here til I need something more.

Right now, I am middle class. I sure hope that when I fully become independent of my parents I will keep that status.

My mentality is like a poor person, always striving not to be without. I save, save, save.....
I would say pretty soon, I'll be pretty rich, with my education, job, investments....
