I started smoking at 16 and grew to be 6'2.

If it does, I'm glad, since I'd hit my head a lot more...

Then again, I might have been in the NBA if I hadn't...

So... I doubt it. I think it's an old wives tale, meant to discourage you from smoking.

On the other hand, I couldn't quit for 10 years, because the evil tobacco companies did such a great job of adding all those "flavor enhancing" chemicals that just accentuate the nicotine addiction.

So it may not effect your growth in the height department, but it may make it more difficult to grow as a person with that monkey strapped to your back...

If it's not too late, you really should quit. Because there is no "man" quite like the tobacco companies. Stick it to him, by putting him out of business...

I'm not sure if it does affect your growth but what you are doing is dangerous to your health, not to mention that some girls might find you unattractive since you smoke.

Do yourself & everyone around you a favor & QUIT SMOKING! Then you won't have to worry about it. Smoking isn't cool, it's not sexy, and it makes you stink!

It won't affect how tall you are if that's what you mean.

It'll just affect how long you'll be here with the rest of us.

Be smart....stop.
