Denominations? Sounds like you are advocating a Christian dictatorship. What about other faiths and non believers.

Christians keep trying to capture morals as something they own - they do not - morals were around long before Christianity.

But then again if you want to turn the majority of the world against America then carry on and see it sink into oblivion. As long as it's demise is Christian you will no doubt be pleased!

Strict moral codes? No. But if one group of individuals is able to form a consensus in a party and get laws passed, well, now, isn't that how a democratic-republic works?

They will be, it's called Islamic law and has been successful in many countries and throughout the ages! It has been around a lot longer than this country has existed and will be coming here soon.

Medieval moral codes is more like it. Regardles the constitution is paramount and the strict separation of church and state is the law of the land. Good luck trying to amend it.
