I'm thinking that authors of fantastic/fictional caracters literature must have got their ideas from somewhere. There must be a modicum of thruth in the stories.

Ghosts yes. Goblins, vampires - No. Werewolves, there is a good explanation behind every story. There is a condition, I'm not sure what it's called, where people get hair all over their bodies and resemble what we know as werewolves, so it's possible that stories were created generations ago on something that someone saw like this...Vampire, perhaps the first view of cannibalism?? I do believe in ghosts, witches (I am one) and vampires (not the hollywood kind). There are people who are called psychic vampires that drain people of energy. I can usually feel them when they are around. Some people know they are and exploit it and some don't know that that's what they are.
Example: You're at a party and someone you've never met is introduced to you. Now you came to the party in a good mood and full of energy ready to dance the night away but after a few minutes of talking to this new person you feel like you're dead on your feet. You're tired and your mood had dropped. IF that's happened more than likely you were talking to a psychic vampire.
Sophie c - If by "evil" you mean the casting of a sacred circle and honoring/celebrating the cycles of nature then yeah sure whatever.....Hint: Different doesn't mean evil.......

Well I believe they are there in everyone;s mind. Any normal person can behave like a ghost, goblins, vampires in their lives. If you haunt someone - may be because of your superiority complex or pride, anger etc. you are not different from a vampire to him or her. I believe these are thoughts that one has which manifest into these ideas and characters.
If we think deeper, what we see outside is but a reflection of oneself. So in a way my answer is they do exist but in ourselves and not outside. Happy Halloween.

Ghost's and spirits Yes, goblins, yes in costume -lol - vampires yes but do research on the true up to date meaning of one, Dracula yes he was a man a real man that killed a lot of people!!!! He did not suck anyones blood though. Warewloves at one time but no longer... I think they have all been killed off long before my time....

I believe there are witches, theres witches that practice their evil doings in the woods opposite our house (getting syked up 4 Halloween i guess!) As for warewolfs, goblins, ghosts, vampires... no, theres never been any real prove about these, jst fantasy creatures. Some people like to believe it to make the world more interesting. = )

Yes there are asuch people that claim to be Witches such as wiccans and pagans..etc Yes i believe in spirits first off because i have had my own experiences with such things as that...now as far as goblins and things of that nature that is only folklore/fiction..~My own personal opinion~

Ghosts... spirits... yes. That's why I don't like scary movies about the supernatural, i.e. posessions, demons, and that Emily Rose movie (it truly freaked me out!!!). Vampires and the like, nah. They're just mythical creatures like unicorns and leprechauns.
