it was funny. they even had satan mention how it wasnt cool for some1 to come dressed as steve, i believe they ment putting steve irwin in there ina good way. they werent being malicious. if you cant laugh at life and the silly things you are going to be misreble. you needa to get on with life and not dwell on things

South Park is great. They take the P out of everyone so they get away with it. Steve-O was a good laugh and would have probably found it hilarious. I hate the way there is an invisible time barrier of when things become funny (actually South Park alluded to this in an episode). If ya don't like it then don't watch. Its just people who want to be seen as caring and sensitive going over the top as usual. We're adults... it wont kill us.
Steve-O was a legend - RIP
Cartman is even more of a legend - Long live the fat kid

You know....I think it's a bit distasteless...TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE MOURNING HIM STILL...they won't find the "funny" side of it...but for everyone else who kinda just brushed it off, theyll laugh at it and move on...
To whoever said Steve Irwin might/will be a popular costume this year, you're probably right...Some might have a stingray on the chest...others won't
Bottom line is, if you don't like it...Don't watch it..
If you think it's funny....good for you...
There's 2 sides to this. They have mocked celebrity deaths Before...Steve Irwin isn't the first one...

More people go to races after a fatal accident so it wouldn't be surprised if viewership went up for Steve Irwin type shows. Animal Planet and Discovery Channel have probably already jacked up their advertising rates.

I think with Southpark, you generally have to suspend your sense of what is and isn't acceptable. Personally, I think its pretty funny - especially Satan's line. But if I was mourning him and that happened, I'm not convinced I would see the funny side.
However, Southpark (however much it may have jumped the shark) should be doing that stuff because no one else is. Long may they continue to be offensive!

I loved steve Irwin, and was so shocked to hear he had passed away. not only do I think its too soon to be using him in a episode, I dont think they should be doing tht at all. the way he died was tragic and not something to use in a comedy show.

Disgusting... Steve Irwin deserves nothing but respect for everything he did and taught us, Not to be ripped off in a stupid and most of the time, pointless and lame cartoon.

I must admit i do like Southpark but this is soooooooooo bad. They need to think of his Wife and children. I will not be watching it, seeing it in the papers today was bad enough.

Steve was a fantastic man, but on the other hand quite
irresponsible - to his family, admirers and fans alike.
His death was anticipated sooner or later. Sad, really.
