I have this project for geography, what toy would a rag-picker child create?

I have to write how I would survive if I were a rag-picker and create a toy. I finished the writing bit but now I need to make a toy. Can you guys give me some idea's? Rag-pickers are (usually) children who find materials that can be recycled, reused or sold. Basically their street children sometimes without parents.

maybe a rag doll....an old board and old fruit, for a game of street hockey, dried fruit can also be used for face of doll, you can find information on the net about the depression and follow a link to entertainment...good luck

You could make a doll out of "rags", an old tire hung from a tree becomes a swing, caps or tops to bottles and cans(such as a paint can) can be rolled along the ground-sort of bowling ball style.

maybe make a rattle by filling an empty bottle with beans and then tying something to the end for a handle?? then paint it real pretty..
