Get superglue remover which is acetone based or a cheapo bottle of nail polish remover it works. I've gotten it on my laminate covered counters numerous time from just letting it drip... It really works...

I did the same thing. I used acetone fingernail polish remover, and it didn't do a thing. I kept trying it about once a week for several months. Eventually the glue became brittle and I was able to peel it up. There was absolutely no damage to my countertop.

Hot soapy water might break the bond. They also make a super glue remover (made by Duro) that you can buy. I have never used it, but that might be worth a try. When I want to break the bond on an item that I have glued, I just soak it in hot soapy water. It works.

You think that's bad?
There was a guy here in England who went in his bathroom cabinet and got it mixed up with his eye drops!
Now THAT gotta hurt.
