Yesterday the Mexican picket fence, today anti-gay marriage.

Have they changed the subject from pedophilia and the failing, wasteful morass in Iraq?

Oops, and if so, did I just change it back? ;)

They are certainly trying to. The new GOP battle cry is : why are we still talking about Iraq, illegal wiretapping, homos molesting pages, insecure ports, social security, health care, attack on the middle class, and failing school systems when we should be looking at the NEW FENCE and GAYS (except those in congress)

Republicans try to change the subject, because President Obama has done such a great job on spending. Adjusted for inflation, spending under President Obama has gone down. The deficit is too high, but that is because revenues are down. Ironically, the Republicans should lose on this issue as well, because it is their insistence on extending the tax cuts for the rich that has contributed greatly to the deficit. I have included links so people can see the impact Republican tax policies have had. They have been a disaster for our nation.

Why was the subject about pedophilia? Is that an attempt to change the subject off of the real issues of the democrats? For instance, the lack of having real issues?

For the record, the democrats are the only ones who have ever defended a pedophile in congress. So be carefull of those stones you throw, most of your windows are already broken.

Sure its weeks before election, time to bring out the big guns to get the base out. We are staying the course no longer. Get those fences up, watch out for gay marriage, like now Bessies gonna turn and up and leave and get married to Gertie in New Jersey...its the end of the civilized world if you vote for Democrats who don't take their meds so they can play the victim for Rush.
No wonder Halloween is so close to election day.
Be afraid, be very afraid.

Silly, silly, boy (or girl). The issues have never changed, just the attacks on the personal mistakes of human beings. I don't condone any of the behavior, but I do care how people vote on the issues.

If they can distract the voters away from what they've done to what they could do, they might be able to win voters shied away by Foley and Iraq.
