In the programme I dont think she is supposed to be well off financially hence her limited wardrobe. Im sure she would love to be better dressed but that would detract from the realism.

I tend to look away when Sonia is on the screen....she makes me shudder. since her boob job she's taken to exposing too much breast and I don't wanna see um!
