on a CV22 engine, what is the purpose of the speed advance module thats hooked to ing. modules & will it prevent getting spark if not working properly?

Go to the Kohler website and see if they have tech support.
The plant is in Kohler, Wisconsin ... north of Milwaukee.

It would be something to keep you from blowing your engine if it runs too fast.
