Do i HAVE TO use Itunes to put songs (files) on my Ipod ?

If not, how do i do it ?

Technically, yes, you have to. BUT some programs have been coming out where you can import songs to your iPod without iTunes..search around at download.com it's called MediaMonkey or something like that.
