I don't know if you are a religous person or spiritual person, but here I go. God is a major factor in so many peoples' lives and yet alot of us are forgetting Him, and truely there is ONLY one God, yet Muslims and the others over there think that "their" God is the one and ONLY. If you think about it and have read the Bible, the Garden of Eden was originally where Iraq is now, and the reason it is all desert is due to Eve biting the apple. The problem is everyone wants to rule the world and no one wants to stop and Believe. I hope i didn't offend you. Thanks

Actually they are going down, and the natural disasters are going in a pattern. Rape has gone down about 40% since the 60's, along with murder and childhood violence. Right now we just have a lot of angry people out there because of the war and Korea. I agree that it's still too bad though. Just read up on the history of America, wars and natural catastrophes and you'll see that we don't have it nearly as bad as we did.

Humans are the only species on the planet whose population continues to increase exponentially, whilst all others eventually plateau then decrease.
I believe one reason for an increase in trouble, both man made and natural is due to our ever expanding population, which in turn causes resources to become more scarce and valuable.

The world population keeps growing, people are living longer, working longer,and are being more stressed. Everyone wants a piece of the pie & there isn't enough to go around. Money is the evil of mankind.

It is a natural flow. World events are happening all the time. It kind of depends on our personal focus and how much of what is going on is in our immediate area.

In my opinion it has much to do with greed, lack of effective communication and believing in false gods. Now that in itself is a recipe for disaster.
