I've met some pretty famous people from soccer. but not many people know much about this sport or who's popular. my uncle played in two world cups and was named one of the top 11 players and the defender of the year in 96. he played on the clash (then turned San Jose earthquakes now Houston Dynamo) and then was an assistant coach for the earthquakes. my family is really close to dominic kinnear. i have also met alot that were on the team.
i have also met Elijah woods (who was VERY nice) in a hotel in Hawaii and Mischa Barton (who wasnt all that nice) in an airport in Cali.

Define Famous, While I was in my 5th Form at School in the early Sixties I actually cooked a 3 course lunch for Sir Edmund Hilary. For those who are a lot younger than me, no he was not a pop/film star. He was the first the Englishman to climb Mount Everest and actually reach the Top.

Paddy Kelly from The Kelly Family. Now he's a catholic monk. And he may not be that famous anymore than he used to be around 1994. Still he was a good musician despite of people laughing at the idea of The Kelly Family.

Only "very" famous person would have been Princess Diana when I was 15. Lovely lady, very beautiful and gracious. Wore very nice perfume too! So glad I got to meet her.
Others I've met include:
Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer at Heathrow Airport (he was a lech - kept looking at me and my friend's t.its)
Peter Purvis at Crufts
Barbara Bonney - American opera singer
Anthea Turner at a Trade Show
David Tennant (Doctor Who) filming in Cardiff. Lovely man. Catherine Tate was with him but didn't get to speak to her, she seeemd nice though.
Various members of Welsh bands, Some of the GLC boys (from my hometown of Newport - one went to school with my brother). "Pritchard" from Dirty Sanchez - a bit of a tit but nice enough, drinks in the pub my BF works in and has a habit of getting drunk and doing stupid things. My BF had to tell him off for pretending to give a "hand job" to the Real Ale pump handles.
Charlotte Church - vile little b*tch. Attitude problem.
Think thats about it. . .

Bob Golic. NFL football player and star of Saved By The Bell. And I once took a leak in the bathroom at the Tampa airport right next to the Undertaker (WWE wrestler). Great guy. And he washed his hands before shaking mine!
