You're not on a desert island, you're in your life as it is right now. You pop down to the shoreline. What message would you send out to the world from where you stand?

In my message in a bottle I would write (on disastered authentic looking paper and in a suitable bottle)

"Date August 12, 1732...
Help help, I have been stuck on this desert island for 200 years now. The tribe of Amazonian Women have discovered that giving oral sex continuously to me makes them live for ever and seems to be working for me also....If you are arranging a rescue mission to come and find me as soon as possible, don't bother!!"

Someone would find it and stare blinking at it for a couple of seconds before going to the press with it...

"Is my message in a bottle more effective than email? Technology has connected us in ways that are unfathomable.... yet taken away our efforts at communicating effectively. We once were desperate to communicate and found ways to make people listen and sit up and take notice. Now.... a simple email is taken for granted. My message is a personal one. Don't lose sight of the human touch."
