There may be 2 problems:
1) Overheating due to processor-fan not working, change it if not working; and
2) Take off the RAMs & plug in again.

I hope this will work inshaAllah.

There is one serious point to this question:Either your processor is not a Core 2 Duo or your motherboard is not 945 .In fact there is no Intel 945GCL motherboard- confirmed by the information on Intel's website. And Core 2 Duo's do not sit in a 945-based motherboard. They use the new socket 775 supported by the 965/975 series of chipsets. So, I beleive that your vendor has taken you for a ride....as is common in India(very sorry to say this)

You may not have a large enough power supply. Dual-Core processors take a lot of power to run. I've seen anything from 65 watts to 95 watts of power, and that's just the processor. To operate normally (not overclocked) your processor uses 65 watts.

The other problem that you may have is heat. The original fan that comes with most processors is not enough to cool the processor down. If you built this computer, get a Zalman CPU fan/heatsink and use a BB sized drop of "Arctic Silver" thermal grease when you install the Zalman CPU fan. Make sure that you have enough case fans, 1-120mm or 2-80mm blowing inward and 1 or 2-80mm fans for exhaust. HDD's generate a large amount of heat also, so it's important to get all that heat out of the case.

If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr
